From a rough draft . . .
Or from scratch . . .
UNF delivered a rough draft to me of a document which combined several existing assets to create a new handbook for new clients. Through several rounds of editing, we moved paragraphs and restructured to create a streamlined flow of information, then completed a copy edit and final proofread to ensure their clients receive a high-quality guide, worthy of introducing UNF's high-quality video products.
When it was time for me to leave my job at HCCP and move to freelance work full-time, I cobbled together a series of process guides pulled from my own writing and from various other locations and authors within the company to create a comprehensive and well-edited training manual to leave with the next person to sit in my chair. It was a fun project, and more importantly, I'm confident it will be useful for years to come.
